We pray the message of God’s love would saturate their hearts. It was wonderful to watch the youth share the Easter story with the kids who attended and lead a worship song. It is great joy seeing the younger generation take an active participation in leading service. Pray for them as they work out their faith and serve in the church.
Paul is part of the Japan Evangelical Missionary Association (JEMA) leadership team and was blessed to help lead meetings in Kyushu, the southern-most of the main four islands, to help build a network of missions and missionaries there. Mutual support and fellowship with fellow missionaries are not only vital to the continued health and ministry of missionaries here, it also brings a synergy that sharpens us and allows us to do things we could never imagine on our own.
We continue to faithfully work with the ministry that God brings in our path. We are also starting the cleaning process that comes each time one leaves their home for a year. When we return to Japan, we will be returning without any of our children, making this cleaning process more detailed as we go through books and items the kids would like to have across the ocean. It’s a long, slow process.
Changing routines doesn’t come quickly as we prayerfully sit with the Lord about the next church plant. Please pray with us as time becomes a foe and a friend as we seek God’s guidance, direction, and courage for the next steps in the new church planting process.
We have heard from some of you and have started to schedule church visits; thank you. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we discuss times that will work in both schedules. Please contact Paul (pemedicus@yahoo.com) and let him know when and how you would like us to visit. We do look forward to spending time with you all to say thank you. We truly appreciate how you all have continued to support us.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support.
