Dear friends and family,

ROADS WERE EMPTY, BUT GORGEOUS SCENERY!

We write you today while under a “Stay-at-home” order in Nashville, Tennessee. We are sure that many of you are in the same situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are nearing the end of a planned four-and-a-half-month furlough.

CHRISTMAS WITH FAMILY

We were able to be with our children and grandchildren for Christmas time last December, traveled to Texas for a visit with Rick’s sister and her family, and visited with some cousins and other friends in that region of Texas in January. Then we set out from Nashville on a six-week road trip to report on what God is doing at Mbingo Baptist Hospital to many of our supporting churches and friends. This took us as far east as Pennsylvania, as far north as North Dakota and as far west as Montana, with stops in Maryland, Ohio, New York, Ontario, Michigan, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado. We enjoyed a wonderful time with Deb’s two brothers and other family in Colorado. We were supposed to have a big family reunion, but because of COVID there were only eight of us able to gather for a few days. Toward the end of the trip, the COVID-19 pandemic began to significantly affect the USA.

ROLLING BANDAGES WITH SOME LOVELY WHITE CROSS LADIES AT PARMA HEIGHTS IN OHIO

We thank God that we were able to complete the final speaking engagement before the quarantine came into effect and for the many miles safely traveled. Thank you for your prayers. And a special thanks to all who housed us and fed us like royalty!!
