Romania is feeling a lot like Canada – Vern has put many hours on the Bobcat moving snow, and everyone can be seen with a snow shovel in hand. The rental groups are enjoying the sledding hill. The weather has started to warm up, so the melt is on!!
We were thrilled to have the youth from Szentkirály over for chili—so good to know these young folks still enjoy hanging out with the older crowd! It was a wonderful evening together as we shared our story with them.

Two of the Szentkirály youth, Miriam Modi and Robi Bálint, have been appointed as NAB global missionary partners, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the NAB team. They are taking over some of the roles held by the Gerickes and will be involved in planning summer camps, village ministry, English camps, and much more.
Robi and Miriam organized a youth winter camp, which 50 young adults attended. It snowed all weekend, so many snow activities could be held, along with worship time and messages from the speakers.

Planning is now in place for a teen winter camp in February; we hope there will be some snow left so they can try out the sledding hill.
Again, we want to thank each of you for your continued support and prayers as we serve at Camp Falcon Rock. We would especially appreciate prayer, as our return ticket to Canada is scheduled for October—which will be here before we know it! We are open to whatever God has in store for us, whether that means serving another year in Romania or returning to Alberta.
’Til next time – with every blessing,
