We are truly thankful for all the willing people who have arrived at Camp Falcon Rock over the last while to help out on so many projects.

We had a team from Whitecourt Baptist Church and a high school in Edson, Alberta, serve with us for two weeks. Many projects got completed.

The main project was laying patio blocks on the deck of the new lodge. They worked hard through rain and fog and rejoiced to lay the last block into place. The girls did a variety of jobs: painting sofit boards, painting at Paul and Tanya’s house in Szentkiraly, building shelves in the shop, and stacking wood, as well as many other jobs. The team and local leaders organized a day camp, with more than 70 children attending. They enjoyed games, Bible lessons, and a worship time – a fun time was had by all. 😊 The team was able to share at churches around the camp. We heard testimonies and songs from the team. We had a prayer walk around the camp to finish off the time with this team. We are so thankful to the Merrifields, who return each spring with a team to help see God’s Kingdom being built here at Camp Falcon Rock.

Our good friends Ron and Donna Marie Orr from back home arrived on April 9. We were thrilled to show them our Romania home and our way of life here at Camp Falcon Rock. We showed them some of the sights around Romania, and we put them to work!!!

Ron helped the guys with some of the beams in the main lodge, got an upper deck started on Paul and Tanya’s house, helped Vern put some sofit boards on our ceiling in our house, and was able to share at two neighbouring churches. Donna Marie was able to share her talent of art with us; we held the first-ever art workshop at Camp Falcon Rock, with fifteen ladies and men attending. Everyone was pleased with their finished art project to take home. Donna Marie blessed the camp with some finished projects, pictures to go in some of the buildings, and signs for around the property.

We so enjoyed having our friends here and showing them our life here in Romania.

OH. SO. MANY. BEAMS.

The ladies have been busy staining beams, and as soon as they are dry, the guys have been lifting them up to the ceiling – lots of hard work, but what a great added feature to this dining room. As soon as the beams are all up, the tiles on the floor will go down. What a great space to have available for summer camps.

Again, we are so thankful for the teams, our friends, and the staff at Camp Falcon Rock to help with so many projects.

Please pray for the busyness of this season and the upcoming summer camps.

We are truly thankful for each of you, your love, prayers, and support.

Til next time.

Blessings,

Vern & Gloria Wagner
