Dear Family and Friends,
Being thankful—we think about it more in November than in any other month and I think I have thought about it this past week more than any other week this year!
Dr. Norah Ndi Njini, assistant program director of the Internal Medicine residency was able to join us for the “Formation Forum” of the Christian Academy of African Physicians at Loma Linda University (CA) and the Global Mission Health Conference in Louisville.
We just received an email from a colleague in Cameroon informing us that the Cameroon Baptist Convention has received the official authorization establishing the “Baptist Institute of Health Sciences.” The post-graduate residency training programs for Surgery and Internal Medicine are now officially recognized by the government of Cameroon.
We are looking forward to celebrating early Thanksgiving with most of Dennis’s extended family on Saturday and hosting many of my side of the family in Kansas City on Thanksgiving day.
We are thankful for good health and the opportunity to return to Cameroon on December 6. We look forward to Christmas celebrations in Cameroon as you celebrate Christmas in North America. Above all, we continue to be thankful for the supreme gift of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your partnership with us in this ministry.
Dennis and Nancy
