It is a great privilege to be free to live out our new identity we have received in Jesus. Do we live it out? What does this free us to do for others? How much of an example are we? What is our goal? To whom does God open the door? With whom should we talk about Jesus? Who is curious? Why yes, or sometimes no? What method(s)? Will they want to change? How long will their motivation last? What kind of help do they need?

We are not free to carry others but to show them Jesus and the abundant and whole life He gives. There are so many questions every day in missionary life. It is great that God knows the answer to everything! And that we can come to Him and ask for His guidance! We must look at these important questions in their entirety, because we are the body of Christ, a Kingdom following Christ, and we want to be a useful part of it.

Since joining, Laci and Eszter have thrown themselves into the work with the Hatvan Baptist Church to help map out and assess the spiritual gifts of the church members. The plan is to organize the families into discipleship home groups according to their gifts. We desire to see a healthy church, unlike so many where the members are not using their gifts and do not know their identity in Christ. Their gifts have not been recognized and thus are not able to serve the Lord accordingly. This incites strife and unrest, allowing evil to creep into the community and infect it. This does not reflect well on the body of Christ toward the world, making it difficult for the church to step out in missions and reach the lost.

Complete health is important for churches and for us missionaries who want to be at the forefront of the fight. Therefore, it is important to have a spiritual home where we can live our faith in sincere friendships and brotherly bonds, thus drawing others to the Lord. We are grateful to the Hatvan Church for their openness to work together in this process. We can also help Word of Life Bible Institute students see and help in ministry toward others at the Friday evening English Clubs in the Church. We would like to love others to Christ!

English Club Spring Race – we have stations in town to complete in teams. We do them quarterly.

We have started to talk about sister-church partnerships also and take part in the training with Randy Schmor! “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35). Our goal and desire is to find these kinds of churches to help reach their communities! We can utilize a lot of what we have learned over the past thirteen years in full-time mission work in various settings. It is important to reach as many people as possible and connection is very important!

It is important to us what our children see in us. Their connection with us is important to us because first and foremost they are our seedlings for whom we are responsible. We like to involve them, serving together with them whenever possible. But we also need to rest and recharge! So, we are very thankful for a week of rest during our Spring Break! We were not able to go for a holiday for a long time together, so it was very needed for all of us! We are very grateful for the opportunity to spend a week in Romania.

We are inspired when we can help others find their niche and work together as a team! We take our parts in our church, together with Word of Life Bible Institute students, with the youth in Apc and in training people in the Baptist church to have a missionary spirit. We enjoy being good stewards of our gifts! “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples” (John 15:8).

Summer camp flyer for Hatvan.

We will have three camps this summer. Starting in Zsámbok July 7–11, then in Hatvan July 21–25, and finishing in Apc August 4–8. This year, we are planning all-day camps, which will take more organization and more help from the communities. People are gathering, interested, and wanting to participate, which is encouraging. Please pray! We do not want to simply occupy the children but to teach them and guide them as they get to know themselves better through fun, crafts, games, and sports activities. We want to teach them that when they recognize God’s majesty, goodness, and thoughts regarding them, they will be able to know themselves entirely. Once they know their identity in Christ, they can fall into place like the pieces of a puzzle.

We plan our camps to be part of the process of getting to know the families in each community. Our goal is to build relationship, then continue with Bible clubs for children and Bible studies for adults and youth on different areas of their lives, show them the spectrum of the wholeness and fullness God is offering to His followers! We are excited for the future helping young adults and youth grow up to become leaders of their own communities. That is our desire: to be loving followers of Christ and to help others to become the same, using their gifts and talents.
