Praise God that Camp Falcon Rock is able to open the doors once again for summer camps. What a joyous sound to hear the laughter and excitement of having young people on the property. We are thankful for all the leaders, cooks, and volunteers that have made these camps possible. Also thankful for the youth of Szentkiraly that have come to spend three weeks here at Camp Falcon Rock. We are so encouraged to see the growth in these youth as they take over leadership roles.
Construction and work carries on around the camp, even though we have campers on property.
The playing field is showing some green. We have sprinklers set up to water when we don’t get the liquid sunshine.
I (Gloria) am thrilled to have the laundry room up and running. It is just a short distance from the cabins. This is where I spend most of the day, washing, ironing, and folding bedding.
They have poured concrete for the main floor on the lodge. There are 1,400 ceiling jacks holding this floor up while the concrete cures. They will be removed in about two weeks. They are now working on the foundation for the kitchen. It is exciting to see this project progressing.
We had a container arrive from Canada with the Bergman’s things and so many other gifts from some generous folks back in Alberta – so thankful to all who had a part in either contributing or packing this container. All of you have blessed Camp Falcon Rock big time – Koszonjuk!!!
Thank you for partnering with us here at Camp Falcon Rock. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
‘Til next time
