Johnson1Dear Friends and Family,

Johnson2

Mayu, a fellow Japanese missionary.

The countdown has begun! We will be leaving the U.S. August 24th and arriving in Japan on August 25th! So much has happened in such a short time. We have been busy downsizing and selling our belongings, having multiple yard sales! We have had the opportunity to share our hearts for Japan at prayer meetings, churches, and with lots of friends. We have also been blessed with friends from around the world praying for us. We just attended a Missionary Conference and connected with other Missionaries, receiving lots of prayer and love as we head out to the mission field!

We have been busy getting all the paperwork in for school, visas, and packing like crazy! We are excited that our children will attend Kansai Christian School starting in Sept…. And thanks to Paul, Shan, and the staff at Kansai School, they found us a 4-bedroom home right next door to the school!!

Johnson3The photo on the left was taken from the front door of the school looking towards our home! We are so thankful to the Lord for working out every detail! We are eager to get settled in and start getting to know all the members at the Komyo Christian Church and start assisting Shan and Yuri with their work in Osaka! God has been so faithful during the last 3 months. We are in awe of His provision, grace, and the continual confirmations that this is the Lord’s will. Thank you to those who have given financially and to those who have committed to be monthly supporters. We cannot tell you what this means to us, and without your support, we would not be able to reach the Japanese people.
