Spotlight on Cameroon

Cameroon is a country of great diversity. In the early 1960s they gained independence from France and England, the two countries that controlled the territories that would join together to become the Republic of Cameroon as we know it today. Due to this varied colonial past the western provinces are English speaking while the rest of the country’s official language is French.

Hospital Improvements

A major advance for the hospital is the installation of a new digital x-ray system. This was completed three weeks ago with the help of volunteer Bernie Hesmert who upgraded our computer network to handle the new system. Shortly after this was completed, staff arrived from World Medical Mission to complete the installation.

Praises from 2013

Each year in January, we help host the annual Cameroon Missionary Fellowship (CMF) retreat. The CMF is made up of all foreign missionaries serving with the Cameroon Baptist Convention. They come from various sending organizations – NAB, Converge Worldwide, World Team, Samaritans Purse, Reach Global, etc.
