The Wagners made an unexpected trip home to Canada on January 10, as our little 4-year-old granddaughter became very sick with H1N1 virus and pneumonia. She was admitted to the Children’s Hospital in Calgary on January 3 to the PICU where she spent 20 days; she has now been moved to another unit where she will continue to heal and take therapy. We have been staying with our grandson near Medicine Hat, getting him to school and hockey. This family is expecting #3 on February 14, so we feel we are needed here to help our family at this time.Greetings from Canada!!
Before we left Romania, we packed up all our belongings and moved to the Farmhouse at Camp Falcon Rock. The camp board felt there should be someone living on the property full time as there is lots of construction going on. We are looking forward to Camp life!!
We enjoyed the Christmas season in the village with many church services and were blessed to be invited to many homes to share meals. We love how the people in our village celebrate the ‘Real Reason for the Season.’ The Canadians also got together to have our traditional turkey dinner.
Construction has come to a halt as they have received lots of snow at Camp Falcon Rock. Before all the snow, they were able to get the roofs on the cabins to the stage of being ready to put the metal on. They also got the walls poured with cement on the water reservoir so work can continue on that in the spring.
We would ask that you pray for our granddaughter Mabel and her family as they have many challenges ahead of them; we praise God for the progress that we have seen in Mabel.
Please pray also for the Camp Falcon Rock team as we are away from them.
Thanks again for your support and prayers.
Till next time,
Vern and Gloria Wagner
