“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
MICAH 6:8 (NIV)
An amazing verse that is speaking to me loudly these days. May it be an encouragement for you as well.
Micah 6:8 is a central biblical verse outlining ethical, practical requirements for believers: to act justly, love mercy/kindness, and walk humbly with God. It summarizes God’s desire for human behavior—treating others with fairness, showing active compassion, and maintaining a humble, dependent relationship with the Divine.
Happy Easter from Čizmanski family!

This picture is taken in our new home for Easter. 😊

Martina and Neša’s wedding.
Just recently, Randy Schmor made a visit to Serbia. We had two great days with him talking, planning, and preparing for the next year, and longer.

In this picture, we have Marija as well. She is a board member and active volunteer you have been praying for over the last three years. She has sarcoma that spread to her lungs, bones, blood . . . in different stages and time – just recently, she has received results from doctors that she is CANCER FREE!!!
Praise God for this!
We are still praying for Marijana – our volunteer who has four tumors on her brain and some other health issues that are not allowing her to function properly.
Please pray for her.

This summer, ZZ and the kids from Donji Petrovci will be restoring our community house. We have been using this house for the last six to seven years, and it needs some renovation. We will take our old floor, and Emil (my husband, who will lead this project) will put in a new one. Also, we have some leaking around windows and doors, so he needs to see what is the damage and what is it going to be done to fix this. Kids will help with coloring the walls.
Another project that we are going to do, and is approved by the board members, is to make a kindergarten playing space. Kids would love this, and it will take some time to clean the area first (kids are so looking forward to help us with that). We will use local recourses to make it possible (some wood, old car tires, bike tires, some rope), and we will see how it is going to look like at the end.
Summer camp is starting always at the beginning of June, and this time we will have a team of 15 coming from one NAB church from North Dakota. We will have three groups that will work with three different age groups of kids. This group has young people, which is going to bring new energy and some wisdom from other people from the team. It is going to be fun, crazy loud, and blessed time for all of us – my prayer is to make some long-term memories in kids’ lives and manage to bring Christ closer to their hearts.
Stay tuned for more information in the future.
ZZ wish you good spring and blessed summer time!
