Another ghost town day in downtown Bamenda
Following this disruption, further “ghost town” days were called leading up to Cameroon’s presidential election on October 12. All this has significant negative effects on the economy, children’s education, and church ministry. The depressing situation has brought many in the church to plead to God for peace and sustenance.

Walter & Dr. Rick Bardin enjoy a stroll in Bruges, Belgium, during the NAB Cameroon missionary retreat
In early October, all the NAB Cameroon missionaries were privileged to travel to Bruges, Belgium, for a retreat. We discussed and prayed for our ministries. Under the leadership of NAB Cameroon Field Director Maureen Moody, we reviewed our mission goals and objectives. It was also an opportunity to fellowship in person with one another. Though we work together in Cameroon, distance, travel restrictions, and bad roads keep us from seeing each other very much.

We do not know how ministry will go in the days ahead in Cameroon. But we know our God holds these days. And in this we rejoice. We also rejoice in our senders – churches and individuals whose prayer and support are precious. Thank you.
