Right next to me is my friend and board member Marija who has cancer metastasized all over her lungs. She is 36 years old, married, and a student of theology. She is under four different treatments, and in a month or so she will have new results of the treatment.
Just now, she is releasing her book I Can’t Hear, where she is sharing her songs written to God in the last year and a half while in the midst of fighting cancer.
On May 26, she will be presenting her book at the theological seminary in Osijek, Croatia, where I am going to be one of the moderators, which I am so honored to do.

We would say in Serbian, this picture talks thousands of words. Right next to me is a brother from South Serbia. He is Roma, and his name is Zoran. He grew up in a Christian family and was well trained to serve. He is a treasure to our team. He decided to leave his hometown (which is not so common among Roma people, to leave their family and hometown), come to Novi Sad, and study psychology. He is a great support for our work in Donji Petrovci. Behind him is our beloved brother, Veljko. He is the result of our CHE work in South Serbia. He became a believer around two years ago, and he wants to grow in Christ. He is now working in the Novi Sad area. He got connected with me, and now he is visiting my church and we are working on getting him a discipleship lessons and book he can bring back home to his pastor, and for himself. Marko and Emina, are a young couple from my Church who were very recently introduced to the CHE ministry. They started serving in January 2025 at the Christmas camp, and God laid on their hearts to help, serve, and support ZZ ministry in Donji Petrovci. They are part of the team that is traveling for the World CHE Conference that is, for the first time going to take place outside of the USA, in Albania this October. We had Randy Schmor with us for two days, talking about the future, planning, and preparing for what is next. Some of the things we were talking about I will share at the end of this report.

And at the end, a short report on the Easter activities in the village of Donji Petrovci.
A lot of kids have prayed a prayer to receive Christ in their lives. I really don’t know what was in their hearts and minds, but God does (and that is the most important). At the Easter camp, we were talking about “better life” and how God can impact our lives as well. We invited the Holy Spirit to be part of their lives, and all of them wanted the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Holy Spirit, work in their lives,” is my constant prayer for them.
Also, some of the children that are in school but still don’t know how to read and write have received a New Testament (as my step of faith that they can learn to read and write as they are reading the Word of God).
ONE more very important thing:
We at ZZ Serbia are facing $1,200 less financial support per year because of the US tariff situation that is having an impact. We would be grateful if you would be willing and able to help us with adding to our year’s support so we don’t face a shortage with funds.
Blessings,
