Dear Family and Friends,
We are so grateful for your prayers & support!
Since we began Conversation Cafe this last fall, we experienced growth in numbers and deepening relationships. More than 25 students from 9 different countries have come to practice English and become friends with us! We welcomed students from China, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Congo, Dominican Republic, Columbia, Mongolia, and Korea. We have now concluded for the summer, but during the summer our schedule remains active, staying in touch with students both on campus and through various events is essential. From mid-April until the end of May we are conducting an outreach study, “The HOPE,” of the key redemptive acts of God throughout the Bible.
There are two Intervarsity staff members at UVU (the only Christian ministry officially on campus) and they will be adding a third member to their team this fall. I’ve heard she has a huge heart for internationals so pray that we can team together to reach the over 1000 internationals at UVU.
The state of Utah is truly a mission field as great as any on earth but also one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever lived. Building relationships, while hiking with students and visiting scenic places, is a great opportunity available to us. We couldn’t do any of these events without our wonderful volunteer/servants!
Please pray for the breakdown of strongholds and victory over the darkness in this place of ministry. The attacks of the enemy are real and fierce. Many of the workers here lose heart and get very discouraged. They need your prayers!
