Dear Family and Friends,

Earlier this week I was on my morning walk and I saw a young man park his car with a fish label on the bumper. So I approached him and asked him what that stood for. He responded that it was an ancient symbol of his faith, especially under persecution. (I said that to test him and see what he stood for.)

He, like many others in this valley we live, is without a home fellowship to serve and w*rsh*p. The few that exist here are very small and are in small buildings tucked away into neighborhoods. It truly is a missions training ground as we live in this culture and share our faith.

As you are probably aware, many of our brothers and sisters in closed countries face similar challenges and often meet together secretly with untrained yet zealous group leaders. Where we are planning to go, one of our key roles will be to mentor, train and encourage our faith family.

We have been very humbled with those who we know that are sacrificing to give to our future ministry. We are now at 30% support and our goal is to be at 80% by the end of July. If this goal is met, I will then go to school and get my TESOL Certificate in August of this year. In the Fall I would also like to be available for various speaking engagements and M Conferences. And perhaps, a visit your way.

Bud recently spoke several times at the Detroit Area M Conf. It was a great event and a blessing to be a part of. There were many positive responses of potential Support Team members. We would be so blessed if our Father should lead you to join our Intercessor / Support team.

We recently purchased a languagepic 2.1 course from the country we plan to go to. It is recommended as one of the top courses and is used by the various govt. agencies.

We face a major life event here in May. Our youngest son is graduating from high school. He is deciding on studies for the Fall and is seeking the Father’s will for his future.

Please intercede for us regarding these various needs for our eventual goal to be in East Asia by the end of this year.

Please do not post this newsletter to any social media.  Thanks!  G*d bless you!

Bud & Lois
